The primary purpose of the Foundation is to give Gilles Caron his rightful place in the history of journalism, art and photography. The Foundation is committed to promoting the archiving and dissemination of his work. Scientific work will enable the Foundation to organize, through its advisory board, the opening of the Gilles Caron archives to the entire community of researchers, academics and the public. This research, initiated by Michel Poivert, aims to make Gilles Caron's work known through exhibitions, editions and all forms of support accepted by the management and its advisors.
