Upon the Kaymakamlık of Nazareth’s letter dated 3 May 1909 and numbered 27, regarding the butchery tax of Nazareth. In accordance with the Ministry of Finance’s letter dated 2 December 1875 and numbered 218, this tax has been taken in Jerusalem in the form of 6 piasters from each camel, ox and water buffalo; 3 piasters from each of their babies; 0.2 piasters from each sheep and goat; and 0.1 piasters from each lamb and yeanling. Hence, for holding a negotiation and explaining the proper method of taking this tax in Nazareth, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council. The 28th of Nîsân (1)325 (11th of May 1909).
