Since it would be difficult to properly draw up the requested statistics unless they are thoroughly examined, and our council has a multitude of tasks to deal with at the present moment, there will be a delay in their redaction. Hence, if deemed convenient by the mutasarrifate, it is appropriate to relegate it to the Chairmanship of the Chamber of Commerce so as to draw it up as explained in this decree. The 5th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)314 (17th of October 1898).
