It has been decided to build a model of the honorable Dome of the Rock and the Chain Dome with a notecase that contains the photos of some religious and pilgrimage areas from seashells, and people of Bethlehem have been contracted for the purpose. The council has decided to pay seven French liras to Khawâjah Dâwûd Sâsûn Al Sâyigh, who pledged to the people of Bethlehem to make a gold lock for the mentioned notecase. In order to pay this sum from the municipal treasury in Jerusalem, this decision was taken on the 5th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)314 (17th of October 1898).
