The water of the pond located within the Maşallah Cemetery is desperately needed for sprinkling macadam roads. Drawing water with buckets and putting it into tanks depend not only on employing more worker but also continually having buckets, wooden tin, et cetera. And all this involves a lot of expenses. It has already been stated in the report given by the municipal engineer that the available pump in the storage can be repaired at an expense of 1,500 piasters. Hence, the reparation of the said pump has been considered appropriate, and it has been decided that the the reparation cost of 1500 piasters be covered from the allowance for sprinkling macadam roads. The 8th of Agustos (1)333 (8th of August 1917).
