Since the Ottoman military marine is coming to visit Jerusalem, deliberations have been conducted about the reception expenses. It has been understood that the Committee of Union will bear half of the mentioned expenses. Accordingly, it has been decided to participate with the Committee in the mentioned expenses. An arch will be erected at the entrance of the city on the expense of the municipality’s treasury. In order to pay the necessary funds from the municipality’s treasury, this decision was issued on the 13th of Mâyîs (1)325 (26th of May 1909).
