The gas and spirits brought for merchants by train are taken after sunset from the Jerusalem station to the Gas Administration; and as it is difficult to find hamals for their entrance at this time, they often remain outside the Administration. It has been stated via a letter by the Office of Gas Administration that there are guardians reserved by the company for preservation, but this is also objectionable. With respect to warning that the said gas and spirits be taken to the Gas Administration before eleven o’clock no matter when, it is thus appropriate to send a letter to the Railroad Commissariat. The 8th of Nîsân (1)314 (20th of April 1898).
