Upon the marginal note given on 4 June 1900 by the Police department regarding the deployment of a watchman in the Seyyidenâ Akaşa locale
As done in other spots, the salary of the watchman requested to be deployed in the said spot has been apportioned among people living there in accordance with the hereby presented bill. The monthly salary adds up to 5 white mejidies and 3 quarter mejidies, and it shall be directly obtained, in accordance with the distribution bill to be given to him, from people living there; and Maghrebian Hacı İbrahim, who has been in this service, has been selected as the watchman. As regards assigning him on guarantee if deemed convenient and helping him in the task of collecting the salary from those living there, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Police department. The 6th of Huzayrân (1)316 (19th of June 1900).
