Until the decision by the Sanjak Administrative Council for the removal of butchers’ and livestock sale taxes put on Dutch auction to the account of 1323 (1907-1908), two officials have to be temporarily appointed for the collection of these taxes. It has been considered appropriate to appoint the Major Fehmi İbn-i Halil Effendi as to collect a daily butchers’ tax of a half Majidie, and Şekib Dakkak Effendi as to collect a daily livestock sale tax of 5 piasters. With respect to the appointment of them or two other suitable people, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council. The 28th of Shubât (1)322 (13th of March 1907).
