In the report given by the police officials, it has been stated that the coachman named İsa bin Anton, a subject of the Italian state, ignored the warnings issued by the municipality, forcibly passing through with his carriage and breaking one of the decorated posts. It has been considered appropriate that, in accordance with the 254. article of the Penal Code in effect as regards this matter, a fine of 25 piasters and also 15 piasters, which correspond to the cost and expenditures of the said post, be collected from him. As regards taking due action in respect thereof, it is appropriate to relegate that matter to the relevant authority. The 13th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)314 (25th of October 1898).
