Scope and content

In the Month of Ramadan, three canons are shot every night for the announcement of iftar, suhoor and imsak. However, it has been considered by our council that the amount of canons shot for suhoor is excessive and that it would be enough to shoot a canon for both iftar and imsak. It is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for negotiation and notification of the prospective decision to the office of Commandership before the Month of Ramadan. The 30th of Ağustos(1)323 (12th of September 1907).
