In the report given by the municipal engineer on 21 March 1899, it was stated that an iron bar, violating the macadam, had been manufactured by Monsieur Kant, the doctor of the Eye Hospital in the vicinity of the railway station going to Hebron. It is necessary that this bar be definitely removed from the macadam within three days; otherwise, it is appropriate to write an official letter to the British Consulate to which the said is person is subject, in order to notify that it shall be removed by the municipality and the ensuing cost shall be obtained from the concerned party. The 10th of Mârt (1)315 (22nd of March 1899).
