The narrowness of the road, which is four ell in width, going from the Jaffa macadam to the Russian Guesthouse, causes trouble for passerby. It has been considered it necessary to expand the width of this road to eight arşın, in accordance with the first article of the Public Buildings Regulation in effect as regards this matter. The the third and eighth articles of the Public Buildings Regulation incorporate the provision of taking an equal –half-and-half– size of land from both sides of the road, should the need arise for expansion; determination of the roads to be re-opened and/or the estimated expansion of current roads by the municipal council; and execution of the requirements by the Administrative Council. Since the map of the said road and the places located at both sides of it has been drawn up and presented today, it is appropriate to the relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council in order to nationalize the required spaces to be incorporated into the road.
