Scope and content
The butchers’ tax of the centre of Jerusalem, which is commonly owned by the Goods’ Fund and the Municipal Fund and whose previous cost had been 47,000 piasters, was put on Dutch auction to the account of 1322 (1906-1907). Until the finalization of this tax at the end of February of 1321 (13 March 1906), it was retained by its previous contractor Arif Yunus Effendi at the previous cost. Despite necessary incentives, no other suitor has appeared thus far. As the said cost has been deemed up to the mark, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council. The 14th of Shubât (1)321 (27th of February 1906).
