Haj Ya’qûb al Takrûrî came and reported that last Tuesday morning, when he was leaving the Noble Sanctuary, he found an illegitimate baby girl thrown on the road. After investigating the matter and verifying its accuracy, the council has decided to leave the mentioned baby girl with the named person to bring her up and pay him a sum of 30 piasters per month, starting from the beginning of Kânûn Thânî (1)324, for the purpose of feeding and bringing up the mentioned girl. In order to pay the money from the municipality’s treasury on a monthly basis, this decision was issued on the 8th of Kânûn Thânî (1)324 (21st of January 1909).
