Given that ….? Effendi al-Afîfî has an old house, many children and is advanced in years, it has been approved to help him, as much as possible, from the treasury of the municipality. Accordingly, it has been decided [by the council] to pay him monthly [the amount] of three majîdî riyâls starting from Mârt (1)311. Thus, ….?? Sumayyah Um 'Abdullah [who] is disabled and needy is to be paid one majîdî riyâl starting at the [above-] mentioned date. In order for this to be approved as it should be, this registry was written on the 4th of Mârt (1)311 (16th of March 1895).
