Formerly known simply as the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library (MARBL), the Stuart A. Rose Library opened in May 2014 after extensive renovation of the ninth and 10th floors of the Robert W. Woodruff Library.
It bears the name of Stuart A. Rose, a businessman, rare-book collector, and generous philanthropist who provided the lead gift for the renovation.
