We announce that it has been understood from the reports received from the Ministry of the Interior in Aleppo dated on the 25th of Nîsân(1)316 and bearing the number 36, that the lack of circulation of the pieces of gold made recently by the goldmakers in Istanbul for the use as jewelry by women is due to the fact that the moneychangers sold them for more than the designated price. In order to make it easier for the people and prevent them from being wronged, we have decided that whoever is interested in these pieces, can contact the municipal council and pay the fixed price so that (the pieces) can be brought in from Istanbul. So whoever is interested can contact the municipality of Jerusalem. And in order for this to be known, these directions were published on the 15th of Mayîs (1)316 (28th of May 1900).
