Because of the current necessity it has become imperative to rent two large tents for use during festivities and other occasions. Upon seeing owners of tents they asked for one French Lira for each day’s rent, because this rent is very expensive, buying them has priority over renting them. After khawaja Floyd inspected the two tents he said they match our requirements, one of the tents has 24 ropes with double cord, and the second one has 12 ropes with a single cord. An agreement has been granted to purchase these tents for 27 French Lira. Since this purchase is in the interest of the council, a decision has been taken to purchase the tents from funds allocated to decorations. In order to pay the mentioned sum from the council’s treasury, this decision was taken on the 25th of Huzayrân 1323 (8th of July 1907). .
