Codex of contributions collected by the hieromonk, protosyncellus and archimandrite Zacharias for the provinces of Cesarea and Iconium. On sheet 3n and on the upper part of the page, a nice colored icon representing Christ in majesty with Virgin Mary on His right, Saint John the Forerunner on His left and behind Him on both sides two angels in prayer. The following text constitutes the prologue of the codex: Laborious workers and commissioners of the Holy and Life-giving Sepulchre of our Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ, I make known to you in this book that I, the least of hieromonks and unworthy of your Brotherhood protosyncellus and archimandrite Zacharias, having spent as a traveler twenty-one years, i.e. from January 1st 1811 to May 1st 1832, in the two provinces of the Saint of Cesarea and the Saint of Iconium, after writing during these years all the names of the Christians that were helpful and charitable to the most sacred monastery of the Holy and Life-giving Sepulchre and upon their demise offe
