We announce to all carriage owners and drivers that all carriages will be given a number and each carriage driver will be given a license in order to practice this profession. A period of thirty days has been given starting from the date mentioned below. All carriage drivers should contact the commissioners who have been appointed for this job in the municipality’s quarters next to Jaffa Gate within the mentioned period. In order for this to be known, these procedures were published on the 8th of Nîsân (1)325 (21st of April 1909).
