It has been decided by the council to rent the second store outside of Jaffa Gate and beneath the big hotel, the residence of khawâjah Fast, for a period of one year starting at the first of Muharran (1)317 until Dhî al-Hijja for Abdû al-Rûmî for an amount of twelve golden French Liras. Five Liras have been already paid in advance while the tenant has to pay seven Liras upon request. Accordingly, this decision was taken on the 24th of Huzayrân (1)315 (6th of July 1899).
