It has been decided by the council to rent the eighth store outside of Jaffa Gate and beneath the municipal hotel from al-khawâjah Fast, for a period of one year starting at the first of Muharran (1)317 until Dhî al-Hijjah for an amount of eight and a half golden French Liras to Hârûn Birnâfskî al-Siknâjî. Four Liras has been already paid in advance while the tenant has to pay four and a half Liras [later on and] upon request. Accordingly, this decision was taken on the 24th of Huzayrân (1)315 (6th of July 1899).
