In the letter presented by our council on 6 March 1900, it was stated that the macadam, which extends from the Halil gate to the railroad station and had been previously repaired by the Public Works, requires reparation as it was in a damaged situation. Since the said macadam has not been repaired until now, it has deteriorated, causing intense dust clouds that create problems for passersby. Additionally, the traffic will be entirely interrupted; hence, as regards taking due action in respect thereof, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Public Works Commission. The 28th of Aylûl (1)316 (11th of October 1900).
