Scope and content

Based on the report dated on the 12th of Tammûz (1)326, number 26, which was presented by the hospital’s doctor, a maid should be appointed to the ward of infectious diseases. Jamîla Bint Jiryis from Bethlehem has been appointed to the post because she has the competencies to carry out the job. Accordingly, the council has decided to appoint her to this service, starting from the beginning of Tammûz (1)326 for a salary of 150 piasters per month, and give her the benefits granted to those like her. In order to inform the doctor in charge about the directions, this decision was taken on the 14th of Tammûz (1)326 (27th of July 1910).
