After the council’s deliberations, it has became evident that it is necessary to open a door to the trench from the western side and erect a wooden scaffolding to reach the bottom of the mentioned trench, to suit women who come to sell their wares from surrounding villages. It was also decided to estimate the cost of installing sewers needed there; the cost of these sewers was estimated at 10 French Liras. Accordingly, the council has decided to carry out these proposed projects with the knowledge of one of us, Antûn Effendi and engineer Nasrî Effendi. Each woman should pay 16 para with the knowledge of one of the municipal inspectors and deliver it to the council’s treasury as rent for a kiosk. This decision was taken on the 13th of Tammûz (1)326 (26th of July 1910).
