Since reserve soldiers are being sent to Yemen via Jericho, the military administration needs to rent some lorries in order to transport supplies to the Jordan River bridge. Upon consultation of the price list, the price for the transportation of military loads was not found. The distance from Jerusalem to the mentioned bridge represents an eight-hour journey. Because of the heavy rain and the mud, the circulation of vehicules is difficult on this road. It is (therefore) necessary to determine the price of the rental of each vehicule going there 135 qirsh sâgh al mîrî. Accordingly, this decision was taken on the 9th of Shubât (1)320 (22nd of February 1905).
