The tax farmer for construction taxes has failed to pay the five installments on time; one [was due] by the end of Kânûn Thânî, two [by the end] of Shubât, and one by the end of [Mârt] the 15th, which totals fifty two thousand six hundred and sixty piasters. And by the end of Mârt all what is required will amount to sixty thousand piasters. Accordingly, and in accordance with the conditions of tax farming agreement, and until the mentioned taxes are proposed to public bid for the remaining period, it has been decided to record the mentioned taxes and to nominate one of us, Shlomo Effendi to supervise them by proxy. Accordingly, this decision was made on Mârt the 20th (1)311 (1st of April 1895).
