Since the road that streches from the Russian buildings in the east until the house of Khawâja Varsholak? is badly damaged and the repairs were found in the calendar of of (1)313, the council has decided to carry out the repairs this year. Khawâja ‘Attallah has agreed to build a 330 meter long carriage road, for a price of 15 piasters to be paid in intallments for each meter. In order to start the repairs and pay the money gradually, this decision was taken on the 16th of Nîsân (1)313 (28th of April 1897).
