The doctor stated that the white mulberries, apricots and apples coming from Mejdel and Askalan villages of Gaza as well as from Jaffa, Ramla and Lud districts, should not be consumed under current conditions since they are harmful to health and would cause disease. Thus, it is appropriate to communicate to the governors of the mentioned districts through written decree that the above-mentioned fruits should not be brought here, and that in case they were brought then they will be thrown away. The 2nd of Mayîs (1)311 (14th of May 1895).
