In a request dated on the 13th of Shubât (1)322 submitted by Jûrjî (Georgi?) Arsîrî, son of Banâyût the Ottoman European Rûmî, he asks for the management and services of the municipal parc for free. In exchange for his free services, he would benefit from selling coffee and lemonade to whoever would want to buy something from him. So Jiryîs Effendi Jawhariyya, the former contractor receiving a monthly salary of 166 piasters and a half, was charged with this. Since the mentioned person refused to accept this charge, a memorandum (?) was issued. The council decided to attribute the contract for managing the mentioned parc to the author of the request Jûrjî Arsîrî as described for one year starting at the beginning of the month of Mart (1)323 until the end of Shbât (1)323. He should receive the material of the parc, the furniture of the coffeehouse and all wood, tools, _____, metals and pieces of cloth and anything else there is. A contract was established for the mentioned material. It has been decided to nominate one of us, Hâj Ibrâhîm Effendi Najîb. In order to procede, this decision was taken on the 28th of Shubât (1)322 (13th of March 1907).
