We announce to all the bakers in Jerusalem that after checking the bread prices (illegible) with the weight and types mentioned above, it has been found suitable for the people (al ahâlî) and the bakers. Therefore the bakers have to work accordingly. If after two days of today’s date one of the bakers did not conform to this announcement, they will be subject to a punishment. In order for this to be known, these directions were published on the 25th of Aylûl (1)316 (8th of October 1900).
