Wheat = 1 kilo- old kıyye, 18.3 piasters / Barley = 1 kilo-old kıyye, 12 piasters
As a result of the examination of relevant records, it has turned out that, from the beginning of May of 1311 (13 March 1895) until the end of February (12 March 1896), the average price at the rate of old kıyye of each kilo of wheat was 18.3 piasters, and the rate of old kıyye of each kilo of barley was 12 piasters as respected current akçe. The 12th of Mârt (1)312 (24th of March 1896).
