The architect Nikolaos, via Daoud dedes assigned to him the construction of the Monastery of Prodromos in Jericho. He went there and worked for 28 days. Recently, he came back to Jerusalem and asked for his salary. He was offered 15 piasters, while normally the builders get 25-30 piasters when they work in Jerusalem, and when they work abroad they get 35-40 piasters. He is kindly requesting for the salary that is owed to him, since the building he constructed is part of the Monastery.
