It has been announced to all oil vendors that it is prohibited from now on to sell oil carried on animals inside the Old City. They should sell oil in one of the stores that assigned for selling this kind of [goods]. So, whoever breaks [the above directions] will be subject to legal punishment. In order for this to be known, these directions were announced on the 8th of Mâyis (1)3015 (19th of May 1899).
