Since the municipal council’s scribe, the late Mûsâ Effendi Al Nashâshîbi, has died a memorandum was issued for his replacement. Since the person to be nominated in this position will only have to write, it has been considered fit to reduce the salary from 350 to 200 piasters and put the remaining 150 piasters in the treasury. ‘Abd Al Wûdûd Effendi Kamâl, who graduated from the secondary school, has been found to have the necessary qualification for this position, so he has been nominated starting from the 16th of Agustos (1)316 with a salary of 200 piasters. Accordingly this decision was taken on the ___ of Agustos (1)316 (September 1900).
