Scope and content

The testimonies of the masters of the carriage drivers of Jerusalem show that Mister Burhân Al Dîn Al Dâwudi has the capacity of being the Chief (?) (shaykh) of Jerusalem carriage drivers. Therefore it was decided by the council to appoint him to this position from the beginning of Mart (1)314. And in order to certify this, this decision was taken on the 18th of Mârt (1)314 (30th of March 1898).
