On the decree, dated 14 May 1898 and numbered 44, sent from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, regarding private hospitals
In order to investigate whether there was any private hospital in Jerusalem or not, the matter was relegated to the municipal doctorship. Upon the report that there was a private hospital owned by the German citizen Doctor Sanderiki (?), an inquiry was made to the office of Mutasarrifate about the matter. As a response to the official letter sent by the Mutasarrifate to the German Consulate, the herewith enclosed letter has been sent. Since the said hospital must be licensed under any circumstances, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council. The 11th of Mârt (1)315 (23rd of March 1899).
