In the letter, dated 21 February 1895, sent from the Maan Mutasarrifate, it was declared that the timbers purchased and sent for the mosque being constructed in Kerek did not wholly reach Kerek. Since the said timbers are provided by Salih Halil, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the municipal police force in order to urgently bring him here from the village of Beyt Sahûr for the purpose of investigating the problem. The 22nd of Shubât (1)310 (6th of March 1895).
