Due to the fact that Cuda (?), Ahmed, İbrahim, Muhammed and Rabi’ (?), the son of Fatma, and Süleyman Bin Ali Mualli, who are all from the village of Lifta, extracted stones from the land belonging to Hovace Şeniler (?), a lawsuit was brought at the Court of First Instance on 7 September 1898, and after a first negotiation, the said court has hold that extracting stones from the said land be prohibited until the conclusion of this trial. This situation has thereupon been notified to the said persons. Even though they abstained to do so again for a while, it has been declared by Hovace Şeniler (?) that they continued to extract stones before the conclusion of the matter. Hence, as regards definitely prohibiting the extraction of stones from the said land, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Municipal Police Force. The 14th of Kânûn Thânî (1)314 (26th of January 1899).
