Upon the letter given on 17 March 1898 by the Education Office regarding the reparation of Han El Hatrun (?)
The ascertained cost of the said reparation was put on Dutch auction again. Following necessary incentives, however, while the cost was decreased 100 piasters by Batris İshak Al Sahar under the guarantee of İsa Al Kasise (?), kapılara gereken ahşabın üç ve pencerelere iki kıratlı cinsinden olmak üzere Maarif İdâresi'nden değiştirilmiştir. Even though he had no seals, İsa Abu Santiyan ?) came to the council and learned about the additional specifications; and with his demand of a 50 piasters decrease from the said sum for his brother under his guarantee, the said sum was accordingly decreased. On the following day, however, İsa Abu Santiyan (?) came to the council and avoided the approval of the said Dutch auction since his brother had not given his consent to this decrease and Batrik İshal withdrew due to this modification. The 18th of Mârt (1)314 (30th of March 1898).
