As a result of inspection, it has been understood that an iron and wooden passageway has been manufactured to conjoin the buildings belonging to the Greek monastery situated at both sides of the road going to the Latin patriarchate. The said passageway was manufactured by way of deceiving our council while it was dwelling upon many issues. As the provisions of the 6. article of the Public Buildings Regulation prohibit constructing bridges over any kind of road and streets, it is appropriate to send a letter to the Patriarchate of Greek Monastery to inform that the said passageway must be immediately removed. The 31st of Tishrîn Awwal (1)311 (12th of November 1895).
