In the report given on 3 March 1907 by the municipal engineer, it was stated that the garden wall, which is located in the Suudiye neighborhood within the city and belongs to the Hindiye family, and the garden wall of the Hindi Dervish Lodge, are about to collapse and in need of immediate demolition. Hence, in accordance with the 48. article of the Public Buildings Regulation in effect as regards this matter, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the municipal police force for demolition of the said walls, after the arrangement of a mandate of a committee composed of the municipal engineer Nasri Effendi, muhtar of the neighborhood, and an official to be selected from the municipal police force, with demolition expenses be covered from the wreckage cost or collected from the owners.
