The soldiers are viz. Capt. Picrotti and Quarter Master Mellini. They deserted on Nov. 5, 1849.

Copy of a letter, W. Hepworth Dixon (Chairman, Executive Committee, PEF) to Ld. Tenterden: transmits the decision by the Sub-Committee set up to examine the claim made by the Abu Saud damily for damages caused by Capt. Warren’s excavations.
