Phenol must be extracted in some parts of the country and the said type could not be found among the medications brought to our council’s hospital and now located in Jaffa. Thus, as regards ensuring that the said medications be immediately delivered here before the arrival of the Emperor, his Highness, it is appropriate to notify the Kaymakamlık of the Kaza of Jaffa with a decree. The 13th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)314 (25th of October 1898).
