We announce that the improvement of the road leading from Damascus Gate to Zâwiyat al-Shaykh Jarrâh and from the place of Hijâzî outside of Damascus Gate to the Syriac convent is proposed for Dutch auction. And in agreement with the applicants, its amount has been determined at the level of thirty nine thousand piasters to be paid in installment. This auction will remain hung for three days starting at the date below. [So] everyone who is interested [in the auction] should contact the municipal council and tender in accordance with the rules==??. In order for this to be known, these directions were published on the 28th of Aylûl (1)311 (10th of October 1895)
