We announce that butter needed for all soldiers stationed in Damascus, Wâdi al-'Ajam, Dûmâ and Hûrân is proposed for Dutch auction. This auction will remain [open] for three days starting at the date below. So, whoever wants to tender should contact the council within the period of time indicated [above]. Accordingly, these directions were announced on the 5th of Mâyis (1)315 (16th of May 1899).
