According to the announcement from the district administrative council, dated on the 27th of Agustos (1)314, the council has decided to demolish the municipality’s room and the salt wells outside the Jaffa Gate from the trench’s side. After that they will be expropriated according to the previous decision, dated on the 15th of Mâyîs (1)313. In order to obtain approval, this decision was taken on the 2nd of Aylûl (1)314 (14th of September 1898).
