It has become evident from the inspection of the road leading to the former slaughterhouse, which will be transformed into the gas station (ghâzkhânah), that it [the road] is not usable by cattle. Accordingly, the needed expenses for leveling [the road] have been estimated and were found to be ten French Liras approximately. In order for this to be done, one of us has been nominated, Mûsâ Effendi Yûnis and [the municipal engineer] Ibrâhîm Effendi. And in order to spend this [amount] from the municipality treasury, this decision was taken. Since the above-mentioned place is still [affected] by water drip, it has been decided [by the council] to do what is needed to stop it with the knowledge of the aforementioned persons and on the account of the contractor Mitrî al-Musarasa'. This decision was taken on the 31st of Kânûn Awwal (1)311 (12th of February 1896).
