It has been revealed from the complaints of the corpse-washer, Shaykh Abdul-Halîm, that because of the great distance of the hospital of the poor, people who move the corpse from there do not accept the low wages. This leads to the delay of the burial of those who die from among the poor people. Accordingly and after deliberations, it has been decided to pay a sum of 65 piasters to be paid in installments to prepare and bury the poor, which is seven and a half piasters more than the sum paid for others. In order for this to obtain approval, this decision was issued on the 27th of Kânûn Thânî (1)324 (9th of February 1909).
